Action DronesAction Drones
Anyone with a drone can hover above a scene and press record. Aerial Action flies through it. Fast, immersive, one-take footage.
Action drone servicesAnyone Can Hover. We Fly Through.
Standard drone footage is everywhere. Slow, composed, shot from a safe altitude, it has become the visual wallpaper of modern marketing. It looks professional. It also looks exactly like everyone else's drone footage.
Action drone (first person view, or FPV) filming is different. The camera moves through the environment rather than above it, into buildings, around structures, alongside subjects, and in a single continuous take that standard drone equipment simply cannot replicate. Immersive, technically demanding, and impossible to fake. This is the Aerial Action product.

Every operation is planned with safety as the priority. Full risk assessments, CAA compliance, and comprehensive insurance on every shoot, especially important for close-proximity action drone work.

Specialist action drones, including our own custom build. Flown fast and close, or slow and steady, depending on the shot.
Your brief drives the approach. We listen, plan, and deliver content that meets your specific goals, not a generic output from any drone operator.

FAQs
We are based in Derbyshire and cover the entire United Kingdom for both action drone and aerial filming projects. We regularly work throughout the Midlands and are available for shoots nationwide.
Action drone filming is Aerial Action's branded term for FPV (First Person View) drone work. The pilot flies using first-person goggles, which enables the drone to move through buildings, around structures, and through tight spaces at pace. The result is immersive, kinetic footage that standard drone equipment cannot produce.

Yes. Every shoot is covered by commercial drone insurance through Coverdrone, including indoor flying.
All operations comply fully with Civil Aviation Authority regulations. We hold the required registrations and qualifications, and handle any airspace permissions or notifications needed for your location.
Yes, indoor flying is one of the things action drones do that standard drones cannot. We regularly film inside venues, warehouses, offices, restaurants, sports facilities, gyms, and other indoor environments.
Every project is different. We provide clear, itemised quotes based on your specific requirements, location, duration, footage type, and deliverables. Get in touch with your project details and we will provide a no-obligation estimate.
We use specialist action drones, including our own custom build, chosen for the spaces and moves a normal camera drone can't handle. The same drones can also fly slower, steadier aerial shots when that's what the job needs. All footage is captured in 4K.
Most single-location shoots take between two and four hours on site. Action drone shoots require more planning and preparation than standard aerial work. Larger projects or multi-location productions may require a full day or more.
Fully edited, colour graded video files in 4K resolution, optimised for your intended use, social media, website, digital, or presentations. For action drone projects, we typically provide a full-length cut and shorter platform-specific edits, unless otherwise specified.
Standard turnaround is five to seven working days from the shoot date. Rush delivery is available for time-sensitive projects.
Safety comes first. If weather conditions are unsuitable for safe operation, we reschedule at no additional cost. One advantage of action drone filming is that indoor shoots are entirely weather-independent.
