Standard aerial footage still earns its place at events — wide establishing shots of the venue, crowd scale from above, the golden hour sweep across a festival site. These are visually appealing and professionally produced. They are also what most drone operators provide.
We include aerial as supporting footage when the brief calls for it. The overview establishes where you are. The action drone footage is what makes the audience feel like they were there. Both have a role — they just do not have equal billing.
